A project stalls when the land is not ready. Brush, small trees and vines block the survey, the surveyor, the pad and the crews who come after. Commercial land clearing in Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus, OH and surrounding areas opens that ground so the next trade can start. BAHM Land Solutions is a veteran-owned, SBA-certified SDVOSB crew. Call (937) 779-9461 or send the address, and we will walk the site with you.
Who we serve
Who We Clear For
Commercial jobs have more people involved than a home job. We keep the scope plain so everyone reads the same page.
Developers and builders
Lots and tracts cleared and ready for the survey, the utilities and the pad.
General contractors
Clearing that lands ahead of your excavation, grading and utility crews.
Property managers
Overgrown edges, back lots and drainage areas brought back under control.
Utilities and right-of-way
Corridors and access lanes opened and kept clear.
Public agencies and HOAs
Parks, trails, open space and common ground.
Business and land owners
Vacant lots, storage yards and acreage that need to be useful again.
Commercial jobs
Commercial Jobs We Take On
If the ground is overgrown and a project is waiting on it, we can look at it. These are the jobs we are set up for.
- Site clearing before construction
- Lots and tracts for building pads and parking
- Fence lines and property edges
- Utility and pipeline corridors
- Pond banks and drainage edges
- Invasive brush on large tracts
- Trails and walking paths
- Vacant lots and storage yards
When digging comes next, the same crew can handle excavation: site preparation, grading, trenching and building pads. One crew means one schedule to manage.
How a Commercial Job Goes
A commercial job runs on a plan. We agree on it first, then we follow it.
Walk the site
You send the address and a plan, or we meet you there. We agree on the limits, mark what stays, and note the gates and access.
Price in writing
You get a fixed price in writing, with each phase listed if you want phases. It does not change without your say-so.
Clear and hand off
A tracked machine grinds the growth into chips in place, section by section. We walk the cleared ground with you and leave it ready for the next trade.
Send the address and your schedule. The estimate is free, and we answer the same business day.
Scope of work
What Commercial Land Clearing Includes.
We do the work in the agreed scope. A few jobs that come up are separate, and they are only done if they are written into your quote.
Included in Commercial Land Clearing
- Brush, vines and small trees cleared to the limits on your plan
- Growth ground into chips in place, with no burn pile
- No-cut areas and trees that stay marked with you
- A fixed price in writing, and a walk of the finished ground
Separate scope
- Large tree removal
- Stump grinding
- Permits and stormwater plans
- Engineering, surveying or design
If your project needs one of these, we say so on the walk, before the quote.
Before we start
What We Need From You
A few details let us price the job fast and plan it right. Send what you have, and we will tell you what is missing.
- The site address, plus a map or plan that shows the limits
- Gate, road and staging information so we know how machines get in
- Utility locations. Call 811, and tell us about private lines, septic systems, wells and drain tile
- Your schedule window, and any phases you want
- Permit, stormwater and wetland rules from the owner or the engineer
- Any insurance or paperwork your project requires
Permits and Site Rules
Your project may need permits, stormwater controls or wetland review. Those come from the owner, the engineer or the general contractor. We work to the limits on your plans, and we do not write permits or stormwater plans.
Tell us about streams, wetlands and no-cut zones before we price. We mark them with you before the machine starts, and the crew stays outside them.
Pricing
What Sets the Price
We do not price from a map alone. We look at the site, then give you a fixed price in writing.
- Acres and shape
- A big open tract costs less per acre than many small pieces.
- Thickness of growth
- Light brush goes fast. Dense woods and vines take longer.
- Size of the trees
- Small trees mulch in place. Larger trees take more time.
- Slope and ground
- Steep, wet or rocky ground slows the machine.
- Access and distance
- Gates, roads and the drive to the site all count.
- Phases and schedule
- Clearing in sections or on a tight date can change the plan.
